Rental increase achieved on Malton industrial unit at rent review!

In the fourth of our 12 deals of Christmas, acting on behalf of the landlord, BHT have negotiated a rent review of Unit 1 at Eden Business Park, Malton, let to Eurofins NDSM Limited, achieving an increase in excess of 33% over the passing rent to £8 psf.

The modern industrial/trade counter unit which totals 5,000 sq.ft was built in 2020 and forms part of a terrace of four units, of which three are managed by BHT.

Eden Business Park forms a completely new development conveniently located just off the A64 dual carriageway between York and Scarborough, and only 2 miles northeast of Malton town centre. With Phase 2 having recently completed, a further phase is planned which will include the construction of a petrol filling station and fast food outlet alongside further industrial units.

The business park which is located 2 miles North East of the town immediately adjacent to the A64 trunk road has become an established industrial/trade counter area with nearby occupiers including Ripon Farm Services, National Highways and CommScope.
