As an RICS regulated firm, our highly experienced Management Surveyors ensure that statutory compliance is satisfied through RICS Professional Standards including the RICS Professional Standard on Service Charges and our practical approach to management encourages good landlord and tenant relationships through clear communications.

The BHT Accounts Team oversee the accounting operations for the extensive Property Management portfolio.

Working closely with both Property Managers and clients, this experienced team, comprising of dedicated Accounts Managers, ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance, and budgeting. We handle all aspects of sales and purchase ledger and deal with regular to more complex reconciliations, cash management, and analysis for property owners, as well as regular month end reporting, VAT reporting and information to support management accounting.

We use Qube Property Management software to ensure accurate financial reporting, invoicing and debt management and have the flexibility to meet all of our client’s needs.

BHT have the expertise, experience, market knowledge and comprehensive market data to provide a high quality valuation service to clients. We provide a range of valuation services to clients to include the assessment of Market Value, Fair Value, Market Rent and Insurance Reinstatement Cost Assessments. Valuations can be provided for all types of commercial property including retail, industrial, office and leisure.

Valuations can be in accordance with RICS Valuation Guidance where required and we have appropriate Professional Indemnity Insurance in place. All valuations will by an RICS qualified surveyor and audited by an RICS Registered Valuer. As part of The Commercial Property Network, national valuation mandates have been agreed with several pension companies and BHT cover the Yorkshire region. We also regularly provide updated portfolio valuations for clients for various purposes including company accounts and tax requirements.
